SUCCESS FOR VILLAGE STORE
Congratulations are due to Resh & Pat Patel of Cold Ash Village Store for their recent success in achieving, at their first attempt, a top three place in two nationwide competitions.
The store was judged a finalist in the Community Award competition run by The National Federation of Newsagents. and in the Award for Merchandising category of the competition run by the Independent Achievers Academy.
In the recent Parish Survey 63% of residents were found to use the
PO & Store at least once every week, demonstrating its importance
in the life of the village.

"West Berkshire Council is required by Government to provide a minimum of 18,500 new homes in the district by 2020. The process of determining where the houses are to be built has begun and WBC are looking at sites that will have a serious impact on the villages of Cold Ash and Ashmore Green and therefore on the quality of your life"
